The Role
We are looking for an experienced Software Developer to join our core engineering team. You will not just write code - you will help design systems, mentor junior developers, make architectural decisions, and directly shape the future of our AI platform.
This is a fully remote role, open to candidates anywhere in the world, provided you can collaborate effectively in English.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs for our AI agent platform.
Own features from technical design through to deployment and monitoring.
Write high quality, testable, and maintainable code.
Conduct and participate in thorough code reviews.
Collaborate with product and AI teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Optimise system performance and troubleshoot production issues.
Mentor and guide less experienced developers on the team.
Contribute to technical documentation and architectural decision records.
Required Experience & Skills
Strong proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Python, Java, TypeScript/Node.js, or Go).
Solid experience with web frameworks (e.g., Django, Spring Boot, Express, or FastAPI).
Deep understanding of relational and/or NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, etc.).
Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes).
Proficient with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
Fluent English (written and spoken) — essential for a distributed, global team.
Nice to Have
Experience with AI/ML integrations, LLMs, or agent based systems.
Knowledge of event driven architectures (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
Previous work in a fully remote or distributed team.
