About the role
We're a Canadian digital marketing company with fifteen years of experience running campaigns for US home service businesses. We're launching a new product for American electricians and we need someone to make the first calls.
You'll be calling small electrical contractors across the US — typically two-to-six person shops — and offering them a website and automation system for $299 a month. Most of them don't have a website at all. There's no hard sell and no long pitch. Your job is to get them interested enough to watch a short video and book a call with our founder.
This is a genuinely good offer at a low price, and you'll be given a demo website already built for the specific business you're calling. That makes the opening far easier than most cold calling roles.
What you'll do
60–80 outbound dials per day using a parallel dialler (Kixie)
Deliver a tested script and handle common objections
Book qualified calls into our founder's calendar
Log every call outcome and objection accurately in our CRM
Join a short daily debrief to feed back what you're hearing
What we need
Two or more years of outbound B2B calling into the US, UK or Canada
Clear, neutral, confident English on the phone
Comfortable with high call volume and consistent rejection
Reliable fibre internet, a quiet room, and a decent headset
Able to work 2pm–11pm SAST consistently
Coachable. We'll train you properly — our founder taught cold calling for twenty years — but you have to be willing to change how you do things
Nice to have
Experience selling to trades, contractors or small business owners
CRM experience, ideally GoHighLevel
What we offer
$13 USD per hour. 30 hours a week
Commission per closed client, uncapped
Full script, objection handling, and a pre-built demo site for every prospect
Real training, not a PDF
Long-term role if the pilot works — we're planning to grow this team
