Looking for Scriptwriter for True Crime Channel!
About the role and the company hiring.
Hello, I am currently looking for scriptwriters for a high-quality true crime documentary channel. This is not bodycam or low-effort content, but long-form, carefully written storytelling.
This is a full-time, long-term position. Strong writers will always have consistent work, along with opportunities to grow within the company, take on additional responsibility, and earn higher pay over time.
Requirements:
Fluency in written English
Ability to work with very disturbing subject matter
A creative mindset capable of building tension and compelling narratives
Videos typically range from 30 to 60 minutes or longer, with an expected turnaround time of 10 to 12 days per script.
Pay: $15 per 1k words with bonuses for view milestones (most videos are around 8-15k words)
For every script, you will be provided with a detailed research document containing most of the necessary information, allowing you to focus fully on writing rather than spending hours on independent research. This structure is designed so you can put your energy into storytelling and creativity.
You do not need to be an experienced true crime scriptwriter. Strong storytelling ability and solid English skills are often sufficient, provided you are able to learn quickly. We are more than willing to train writers up to our standards if we see clear potential.
You will be required to study and follow a comprehensive manual that outlines our scriptwriting style.
