Job Description

Healthcare Partners Consulting & Billing, LLC (HPC) is a revenue cycle management and billing consultancy headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, specializing in mental health and behavioral health providers, group practices, and growth-stage practices. We protect client revenue through compliance-driven billing, accurate documentation, and proactive financial oversight.

We are hiring a Remote Intake Specialist to serve as the first point of operational contact between our clients and their patients. This role is detail-driven, process-dependent, and essential to the accuracy of everything that flows downstream into billing and claims.

This is not a general administrative role. This position requires precision, accountability, and the ability to follow structured workflows without deviation.

What You Will Do

You will manage the intake process for behavioral health and mental health practices, including collecting and verifying patient demographic and insurance information, completing benefits verification, entering data accurately into electronic health record (EHR) systems, communicating with patients and providers regarding scheduling and intake requirements, flagging incomplete or inconsistent information before it reaches the billing team, and following HPC's standard operating procedures for every step of the process without exception.

What We Require

You must have prior experience in a healthcare administrative, medical front desk, or patient intake role. You must have working knowledge of insurance verification, including the ability to identify plan type, coverage dates, copay and deductible structures, and authorization requirements. You must be proficient in at least one EHR or practice management platform. You must have a dedicated, distraction-free home workspace with reliable high-speed internet. You must be available during US Eastern time zone business hours. You must be able to communicate in writing and verbally in clear, professional English.

What Will Set You Apart

Experience with behavioral health or mental health practices is a significant advantage. Familiarity with platforms such as SimplePractice, TherapyNotes, Jane App, or Headway is preferred. Experience working remotely for a US-based healthcare company is preferred. Strong attention to detail with a track record of catching errors before they become problems is expected at this level.

What HPC Expects from Every Team Member

HPC operates in a structured, remote environment where accuracy is non-negotiable, deadlines are real, and communication is expected to be clear and timely. We do not manage people daily. We expect team members to own their work, follow established protocols, escalate issues appropriately, and deliver consistent results without requiring constant direction.

If you work best when given clear systems and held to clear standards, this role is a strong fit. If you require significant oversight to stay on task, this role is not.

Compensation

Competitive and commensurate with experience. Rate discussed during interview.
