About the role

Ecompapi Digital Agency is a Melbourne-based growth agency that helps SMEs and scaling businesses consolidate their fragmented digital systems into one unified strategy. We work across SEO, AEO, paid media, web design, and HubSpot solutions.

We are bringing on an Outbound SDR who will own the full sales cycle from first contact to closed deal. This is not a handoff role. You will prospect, qualify, pitch, follow up, and close. You will be the first voice prospects hear and the reason they sign.

You will be targeting business owners and marketing decision-makers across Australia, New Zealand, and the UK who are ready to invest in digital growth but have not yet found a partner that truly understands their situation.


What you will do

  • Build and manage your own outbound pipeline from scratch using cold email, LinkedIn, and phone.

  • Research and identify qualified prospects across the ANZ and UK markets in line with Ecompapi's ICP.

  • Write and send personalised outreach sequences that open conversations, not just inboxes.

  • Conduct discovery calls to understand each prospect's business, challenges, and growth goals.

  • Present Ecompapi's services clearly and confidently, linking them to the prospect's specific situation.

  • Manage follow-up and objection handling through to a close or a qualified decision.

  • Keep your pipeline, notes, and activity accurately tracked in the CRM.

  • Bring weekly reporting on outreach volume, reply rates, meetings booked, and pipeline movement.

  • Share feedback from the market to help sharpen positioning and offering over time.


What we are looking for

  • 2 to 4 years of outbound B2B sales experience, ideally selling digital marketing or agency services.

  • Proven track record of running full-cycle outbound, not just booking meetings for someone else to close.

  • Strong written communication. Your outreach copy needs to be sharp, specific, and human.

  • Comfortable on the phone. You can build rapport quickly and handle pushback without flinching.

  • Organised and self-directed. You can manage your own schedule and pipeline without needing hand-holding.

  • Commercially minded. You understand ROI conversations and can connect marketing investment to business outcomes.

  • Reliable overlap with AEST business hours for client-facing calls and internal check-ins.


What this is not

  • This is not an inbound or SDR-only role. You will be closing, not passing leads.

  • This is not a high-volume spray-and-pray position. We want targeted, well-researched outreach.

  • This is not a role for someone who needs a script for every situation. You need to think on your feet.
