Operations Manager (STR/Airbnb Management)
About the role and the company hiring.
We are a fast-growing short-term rental company managing luxury vacation homes across multiple markets. We're looking for an experienced Operations Manager who thrives on creating systems, improving efficiency, and leading people.
This is not an entry-level Virtual Assistant position.
We're looking for someone who thinks like an owner—someone who can oversee our operations team, manage multiple VAs, identify inefficiencies, build SOPs, and continuously improve our business.
Our goal is simple: build systems so the business runs smoothly without constant oversight.
Responsibilities
Lead and oversee a team of VAs
Hold VAs accountable to KPIs and daily performance.
Create, document, and improve SOPs for all operational processes.
Identify inefficiencies and proactively implement better workflows.
Train new team members and ensure consistent execution.
Conduct weekly team meetings and performance reviews.
Monitor guest communication quality and response times.
Ensure issues are resolved quickly and escalated appropriately.
Coordinate with cleaners, maintenance vendors, and contractors.
Improve automation using Hospitable, Airbnb, VRBO, Booking.com, Quo, and other property management tools.
Build systems that reduce manual work and increase operational efficiency.
Track operational metrics and recommend improvements.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience in Short-Term Rental Property Management.
Previous experience managing or supervising remote teams.
Expert knowledge of Airbnb, VRBO, Booking.com, Hospitable, and other STR software.
Strong experience creating SOPs, workflows, and operational systems.
Experience with NOTION (A must!!!)
Excellent English communication (written and verbal).
Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
Comfortable making decisions independently.
Able to prioritize multiple tasks without constant direction.
Advanced knowledge of Google Workspace, Excel, and project management software.
