We are a well-established Australian virtual reception service supporting busy medical and allied health clinics across the country. We are seeking an experienced Medical Virtual Receptionist who can provide a warm, professional first impression and handle patient enquiries with confidence and care.
This is a work-from-home position, ideal for someone who is organised, efficient, and genuinely enjoys helping people.
About the Role
Answer incoming calls for medical and healthcare clinics
Book and manage appointments accurately
Handle patient enquiries with empathy and professionalism
Take clear, detailed messages and forward via email/SMS
Liaise with clinic staff when required
Maintain confidentiality at all times
MUST HAVE REQUIREMENTS (Non-Negotiable)

English as your FIRST language (clear, fluent, professional communication is essential)
Proven experience in medical or healthcare reception
Microsoft 365 Desktop Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel – MUST be installed on your computer, not browser version)
Active Google Account (Gmail, Google Drive, etc.)
Reliable high-speed internet connection (no dropouts)
Quiet, professional home office environment (no background noise)
Strong computer skills and ability to learn new systems quickly
Excellent phone manner – friendly, confident, and articulate
Highly Regarded
Experience with medical software
Previous virtual reception or call handling experience
Ability to multitask across multiple clinics
Understanding of medical terminology
