Job Description

Role Overview

We are looking for a high-calibre, proactive Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive top-of-funnel growth for Novacoast UK. This is a strategic role focused on leveraging an existing 15,000+ strong LinkedIn network to identify, segment, and engage senior cybersecurity decision-makers (CISOs/CIOs) in UK regulated industries such as Legal, Finance, and Insurance.

The Goal: To transform an established network and new targeted outreach into high-value strategic meetings for the Director.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Network Mining & Segmentation: Analyse and segment an existing network of 15,000+ connections to build high-intent target lists for specific campaigns.

  2. Strategic Outreach: Execute daily personalised outreach via Sales Navigator using established "hooks" (AI Risk, Penetration Testing, Regulatory Compliance).

  3. Campaign Ownership: Design and execute multi-touch "mini-campaigns" (e.g., a 3-step follow-up for the Legal sector) to move prospects from "Connected" to "Meeting Booked."

  4. Inbox & Relationship Management: Monitor the LinkedIn inbox daily. You must be able to handle "No/Internal" objections professionally and flag "Hot" leads for the Director immediately.

  5. Pipeline Integrity: Maintain the Master Tracker (Excel) with 100% accuracy. You should be comfortable suggesting improvements to the process, not just following instructions.

Candidate Requirements

  • Cybersecurity Literacy: You must already understand the difference between MSS, Penetration Testing, and Advisory services. No "Cyber 101" training will be provided.

  • BDM Experience: Proven track record of booking meetings with C-Suite executives in the UK or US markets.

  • Strategic Initiative: We are looking for a "Growth Partner" who brings ideas to the table (e.g., "I’ve segmented 200 Insurance CISOs from your network; let's try this hook") rather than waiting for a task list.

  • Technical Skills: Expert-level LinkedIn Sales Navigator and Excel/Spreadsheet management.

  • Communication: Exceptional, "consultative" written English. You must be able to leverage the Director’s Legal (LLB/LPC) background as a trust signal.

Trial Period: This role starts with a 2-week paid trial to ensure a strategic and cultural fit.
