Ecompapi Digital Agency is a Melbourne-based growth agency working with small and medium-sized businesses across 12+ niches. We help owner-led and scaling businesses replace fragmented digital approaches with one unified growth strategy, delivered across SEO, AEO, paid media, web design, and branding.
This is a full-cycle business development role. The person in this seat owns the pipeline from first contact through to a signed agreement. That means sourcing, qualifying, running discovery conversations, presenting solutions, and bringing engagements to close. It is a role with real commercial accountability, not just activity targets.
You will be working with business owners and senior decision-makers across Australia and the UK who are actively looking to grow but have not yet found a partner who can connect strategy, technology, and execution under one roof.
What you will own
Build and manage your outbound pipeline across cold email, LinkedIn, and phone, targeting Ecompapi Digital Agency's ICP in Australia and the UK.
Research prospects thoroughly before reaching out. Personalised, relevant outreach is the standard here, not volume for its own sake.
Run structured discovery calls to understand each prospect's commercial situation, growth goals, and current challenges.
Present Ecompapi Digital Agency's services with clarity and confidence, connecting each recommendation to the prospect's specific context.
Own the pipeline through to close, including follow-up, objection handling, and negotiation where needed.
Maintain accurate records of pipeline activity, deal stages, and prospect notes in the CRM.
Report weekly on outreach activity, conversation quality, pipeline movement, and revenue closed.
Bring market feedback back to the leadership team to inform positioning, service packaging, and ICP refinement over time.
What we are looking for
3 to 5 years of B2B outbound sales experience with a demonstrable track record of owning the full sales cycle from prospecting to close.
Background in selling digital marketing, agency services, or professional services is a strong advantage.
Strong written communication. Outreach that is specific, well-researched, and relevant to the person receiving it.
Comfortable leading conversations at owner and senior decision-maker level, with the ability to ask good questions and listen carefully before presenting a solution.
Commercially grounded. Able to frame marketing investment in terms of business outcomes, not just service deliverables.
Self-directed and reliable. Able to manage a pipeline independently and hold yourself accountable to results without close supervision.
Experience working with Australian or UK businesses is a meaningful advantage.
Available to work hours that overlap with AEST business hours for calls and internal check-ins.
What this role is not
This is not a top-of-funnel or appointment-setting position. The expectation is full commercial ownership from first contact to signed agreement.
This is not a high-volume outreach role. Quality of conversation and pipeline accuracy matter more than raw activity numbers.
This is not a role that suits someone who needs close direction or a structured daily schedule set by someone else.
Compensation
+ Commission paid on targets met.
