Acquisitions Assistant - COLD CALLER

About the Role:

As an Acquisitions Assistant at Barefoot Land Co., you’ll be on the front lines of our land acquisition efforts. Your mission: cold call property owners, build rapport, gather vital property intel, and hand off qualified leads to our acquisitions team. You’ll play a key role in fueling our pipeline and helping us secure strategic land deals across the country.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cold call property owners and conduct qualification calls

• Engage sellers and gather zoning, property, and financial data

• Build rapport and document actionable lead information

• Collaborate with internal teams to drive acquisition decisions

• Maintain efficient and clear outreach logs

Required Skills & Experience:

• 2+ years experience in cold calling or outbound sales

• Strong verbal communication and persuasion

• Goal-driven, resilient, and proactive

• CRM familiarity and basic understanding of land use terms

• Organized and responsive in a fast-paced environment

Bonus Skills:

• Real estate acquisitions or land sourcing experience

• Familiarity with U.S. zoning and planning processes

• Real estate tools experience (e.g., GIS, CRM, PropStream)

Compensation & Benefits:

• $3.75 - $4.50/hour USD

• $1,000 bonus to be paid out after the closing of any project contracted on or after employment start date.
